Krueger’s KRH return hood (or air canopy) provides a lightweight, easy to install, economical solution to promote quiet environments and speech privacy. Placed directly above a return grille, the KRH creates a shield-like structure or barrier against plenum sound waves that might originate from nearby occupant spaces or mechanical equipment. As sound waves encounter the KRH insulated surfaces, they are significantly dampened, thereby reducing the noise or sound that may be transferred through a given return grille and heard from within the occupant space.
